| Why Sojourner Enterprises |
Sojourner Enterprises was birthed in 2005 as the logical progression
in the journey of its founder, Kevin O'Connor. Following over 20
years of teaching, instructing, guiding and counseling others, he
became the director of a career services center helping college
students of all ages explore their futures. Now he is taking those
talents, skills, and God-given abilities to help a larger audience
discover their design and purpose. In so doing, he helps them become
more productive and responsive to those around them.
With practical experience in different disciplines, Kevin readily
adapts to the client's needs. Trained in facilitating many assessment
instruments, to include, the Myers Brigg Type Indicator (MBTI),
Strong Interest Inventory, and the Prepare/Enrich marital assistance
program, Kevin has gained a wealth of knowledge and practical
experience from which to draw when working with clients.
Kevin has his MS Ed in Counseling and Guidance from Eastern
Illinois University and was certified in coaching from EQ at Work and
the Life Purpose Institute, and continues his training with other
mentor coaches, as well. He is also a published author; his first book,
"The Project of Reflections" was released in July 2008 by Publish
America.
